Original Watershed Plan
The original watershed plan for Nippersink Creek was completed in 1998 by the Nippersink Creek Watershed Planning Committee.  The plan provided a summary of watershed history, current physical, chemical and biological characteristics of the watershed, outline for establishment of a watershed greenway plan, and general watershed protection guidelines.  It did not, however, identify specific areas of concern or provide recommendations for restoration or protection of specific sites within the watershed.

Besides the watershed plan, the following publications have been developed by various entities and are available widely in the watershed.  These publications address the information/education component of watershed-based plans:

Nippersink Creek- Opportunities for Enhancement: Technical & Financial Assistance Programs for Landowners, August 2002

Recommended Standards for Development in the Nippersink Creek Watershed, September 2000 Nippersink Watershed- A natural resource plan for the watershed community, Executive Summary, October 1999
